Jennifer Lopez has spent most of the week promoting her latest movie, Netflix’s Atlas.
Unfortunately for J.Lo, rumors about her marriage to Ben Affleck coincided with the press tour for the action movie, which meant every move she made was dissected (even more than usual) by the media. A few days ago, she even shut down a reporter on the red carpet, responding to a question about her relationship by saying, “You know better than that.”
If that message weren’t clear enough, Netflix’s new Atlas advertising spelled it out for her. Ahead of the film’s release, the streaming service rented a billboard above the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles that bluntly read: “Don’t F With JLo.” And while the display likely referred to Lopez’s character in the movie, Atlas Shepard, it also served as a reminder not to scrutinize her personal life.
Lopez seemed to approve of the message, as she took time out of her schedule to visit the billboard herself. “So a bunch of people were messaging me yesterday telling me about this billboard that Netflix put up for Atlas,” Lopez said in a clip posted to Instagram. “So I want to go see it for myself.”
For the occasion, the star went laid-back in a cropped gray sweatshirt with a blue bralette peeking out from underneath, as well as matching gray sweatpants. She was done up in her usual glam and blowout, and accessorized with large gold hoops. In the video, J.Lo playfully teased, “And just a little friendly reminder from Netflix over there,” as the “Don’t F With JLo” billboard towered over her in the background.
