Amanda Seyfried Debuts Silver Hair at Met Gala

Amanda Seyfried made an electric entrance at the 2024 Met Gala.

The Mamma Mia! star arrived on the green carpet at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight in a crinkled silver ball gown. The metallic sleeveless piece featured an ample skirt embellished with beaded flowers in white, pink, and black. While the dress was a work of art, the true highlight of the look was the actor’s diamond ivy crown and matching silver hair, which was styled in romantic swirls.

For beauty, Seyfriend gave the dreamy look an ice-queen spin with a vibrant purple lipstick and matching shimmery eye shadow from Lancôme. She finished the ensemble with large diamond stud earrings, a matching ring, and a silver manicure.

Seyfried is never one to shy away from a dramatic red-carpet moment.

Last year, the star of The Dropout walked the red carpet at the Met for the theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” in the most sophisticated naked dress, custom-made for her by Oscar de la Renta. The nude, sheer minidress featured a corset bodice and was made up of golden strands cascading from her neck to her thighs. She accessorized with a layered gold necklace that perfectly matched the piece. Keeping the look monochrome, the actress wore golden heeled sandals from Stuart Weitzman, gold hoop earrings and rings, and a gold mani-pedi.

Seyfried also went all out with her glam then, pairing the flapper-esque dress with a big curly hairdo, a shimmering burgundy smoky eye, and a matching bold raspberry lip.
